M.I.A.:  Missing Men In Action

Is an opportunity for the members of Huber to be introduced to some of the young men of our church family who are making a difference in life not necessarily through what they do, but more importantly in who they are.

Society tends to highlight the lives of those who are Missing In Action, but we want to highlight "Men In Action!"

In this effort, we introduce, Christopher Iverson...

My name is Christopher Iverson. I graduated from Owings Mills High School in 2009. After high school, I attended Morgan State University for a year. Morgan State was an excellent experience for me, but I felt that it wasn’t the appropriate school for me. I decided to transfer to CCBC Catonsville the next year. After receiving my Associates degree this summer, I plan to transfer back to a four year institution and receive my Bachelors degree in Broadcast Production. I am currently a host at Famous Dave’s in Owings Mills, working on the weekends while I am in school. My overall goal right now is to stay focused and to graduate college with an abundant knowledge in my field to start my own production company and make a positive difference in the world. To Rescue, Redeem and Recreate, I am setting a positive and Christian like example for my peers and anyone I encounter. I consider myself a Man In Action because I am on the right. I am striving to make the best of my life by staying in school, setting a good example for my peers and teenagers younger than me, and setting realistic goals for myself that will ultimately allow me to make a difference.
